    I have 18 month old hens. Two of them are sleeping a lot and losing lots of feathers. If I pick them up or touch them feathers come out in my hand. I know molting time is possible but is it normal for feathers to come out in my hand?

    Wondering what breeds and genders these two are. 1 red and 1 blue. They are just over 9 weeks old. Got them from someone who got them at tractor supply. He doesn’t remember what they are. They were sexed as pullets.

    Moving chickens to coop for first time and temps are in the 100's.
