Hurray!! Just got back from the vet. It's egg peritonitis, and he drained her abdomen and gave us some medicine to give her. She's doing so much better already!!

sumer hard to tell right now. could be an easter egger, welsummer, speckled sussex or 20 other breeds. did you ask your friend if she has any idea who the mom or dad are? if she’s not an actual breeder, chances are it’s a barnyard mix.
