    Thank you for asking unfortunately I think the chick did not make it on the evening of day 25 it was no longer moving or chirping from inside the egg. So I went to tractor supply and pick up four cute buff Orpington chicks the other day!

    Hi It’s day 24 for my chick it’s breathing and moving But no pecking yet Any one experienced with a chick hatching on day 25 what were the days leading up to it like what was it like did you dought it would hatch Any reply is appreciated!!

    Thanks for your reply I was incubating 9 buff Orpington eggs unfortunately I think the 8 of them did not fully develop/ make it to this stage on day 22 I heard chirping and rocking today is 24 and I posted another thread asking if my chick was in a correct position for hatching it was alive...

    No pip I’ve only seen The egg Rock and herd chirping. My incubator dose not measure humidity but I did wet the sponge lots today. If you have any idea on how to assist hatch or if my chick could be malpostitond that would be awesome thanks for the reply

    Also something the chick get tried from trying to get out that they will fall asleep in the egg so that inactivity you saw was probably just the chick taking a break

    You could candle the eggs if you see veins or darkness it’s most likely life.
