    Thanks everyone for your ideas. Thanks particularly to ThreeBoysChicks for the info on how you reinforced your run. I'm headed out this morning to put reinforcement around the bottom third of my coop so that my dog can't chew through the wire. We'll see where we go from there. Thanks!

    Thanks all, for the thoughts. Dilly, I'm not sure how you interpreted my post to mean that I can't afford to or don't intend to keep my chickens safe. Getting feedback from other people who have good ideas to share is part of that process.
