Looking to make a Serama connection in AZ. I am in Phoenix. Not looking for breeding. I simply love those little characters.
Perhaps a breeder has some they need to be rid of? Can take one rooster, several hens. Priced reasonably? ernie 85017 at cox dot net
I am having a hard time finding "affordable" seramas.
I don't want fancy breeding, and there must be sellers out there
who have hens they need to get rid of.
Any one know of any?
Thanks
OK, my brain must be on vacation. I can't find a tab for starting a new thread.
I am looking for s e r a m a s in AZ. I live in Phoenix. I can only have one rooster.
If you have some of these lovelies for sale, please email: [email protected]
My spellcheck will not allow me to type...
Please don't use those. They are cruel. They push the feathers in very uncomfortable positions that poke them constantly. They can be surgically de-crowed. I had two done. They still "crow" but it is more like a whisper.
Have you found a home for your serums? There it goes again, my spellcheck turns s e r a m a s into serums. I love ser..s . I am in Arizona, but overnight shipping may still be available? I am experienced with ser...s. Please respond via email: [email protected]
Reading all the posts I could find here on fighting, I read that bullying is a possibility.
My two serama roosters came to me at the same time, with the ladies. They got along so well, I thought I got lucky. Then Spring came.
They fought, dominance was established, but the top rooster...
I had a wonderful little banty frizzle, I think he was mostly serama. We would "spar". I would see him coming, or in prelude to attack mode, and put my foot out and he would jump up, smack it a good 4 times with his spurs, then land. Very very fast. I always had shoes on. I don't remember...
They waste so much with crumbles, and the crumbles - crumble - and turn to feed dust.
The small pellets seem more efficient. The regular pellets are just too big for their little throats. Well, as far as I am concerned!
I have seramas and need a small pelleted layer feed. The only one I have found so far is Eggland's Best, and I can only get it by mail order. Chewy sells it for almost $40 for 40 lbs.
Can anyone offer some names that would be at my local feed store?
THANKS!!!!
