Also sidenote on relocating them if you trap them. I don’t know what your laws are where you are on that. In Michigan and Wisconsin it was legal to relocate them but that may not be the case elsewhere.

Hi all! First year raising Bobwhite quail. I noticed the other day one of the roosters aggressively chasing a hen. None of them are injured and they all bed down for the night together. Should I assume it’s a pecking order behavior? Thanks!

So I have 12 Bobwhite Quail. 99% positive the I have 7 hens and 5 Roos. Ive read they mate for life. Do I need to worry about the odd number? Or are they all get along you think? Thanks!
