Scratch and Peck layer food does great for my 9 hens.....they free range on 5 acres in the afternoons and I limit treats (meal worms, sunflower seed) to 1 T a day per bird. Getting 6-8 eggs a day and everyone is healthy. One rooster for the flock

Yes, I rigged a spot in the coop surrounded by wire so they can see each other, but they can't get to her. She's eating and drinking well. She got scared once when I had put her in the yard when the other hens were out.....and she scuttled right under the coop. But mostly, she won't walk on it.
