    I was holding my silkie and petting her in on lap when I noticed a tiny insect crawling on my blue pants. On the background of blue pants it liked kind of reddish but when I glued it to a piece of tape it looks more dark brown Any idea what this is?

    Silkie voices.. More like a goose

    My silkies cheep when they are little bit but when they get older they don't seem to cluck like my barn chickens...they have more of a goose like sound. Is this common ? Why do my silkies have their own language?

    LA 200...second dose necessary?

    So the instructions are to to give shot at 0.20 per pound on day one and same does again three days later. Two days later chicken seems back to normal and responded well to first shot. Do I still give the second shot ?

    Ours retire with us. If they've given us their eggs their whole lives they deserve to stay as pets and pest control for the rest of their lives. My oldest chicken is 12.     My big chickens free range during the day and go into Fort Know for the night. It has a concrete floor, the frame itself is attached to the horse barn. It's managed with a sprocket drive automatic door. It has both no climb horse fence and small square metal wire. We've lost chickens to raccoons...
