    can you post an update? I just rescued two of these chicks that were abandoned for the winter, not sure on exact age but guessing 6 weeks ish. Your chicks comb looks very reddish for that age if I were to guess but everyone is saying pullet?! Fingers crossed for you!

    Ameraucana x Isbar

    the Isbar x legbar (Ice cream bar) Has started laying a sweet blue egg. Definitely a nicer blue than the chick hatched from so I’m happy with that! The Isbar x ameraucana is only 3 months so will try to update when it lays as only the blue one ended up being a pullet

    I know this is a bit old, but so you have any pictures of your Barnevelder roo over CL hen? I would love to see any if so as I’ve hatched this cross, thought she was a sexlinked female but now has me worried with a large comb. I’ll post a pic of mine here at 1 and 3 weeks.     This was mine around 6 weeks starting to show some pink and waddle and then by 8 weeks was fully obvious roo. At 5 weeks I still thought it was a pullet with no pink and a fairly similar comb as the others. So give it a couple weeks and you’ll know!
