Barring genetics and head spots

I’ve hatched some ice cream bar chicks from a breeder that is a crested cream Legbar rooster over an Isbar hen. I know that this breeding isn’t guaranteed sex linked b/c the rooster is barred, but if the chicks have head spots does that mean they are for sure boys? And what is not reliable is that some without head spots could also be boys? Is it possible that a chick with head spot could be female?
