    What is this

What is this "egg shaped" object in my chicken? The chick is around 5 months, I dont remember the gender. Two chicks had this. The thing felt firm/solid and had a yellow content - didnt smell, the other chick's 'object' had a brown'ish smelly content. Only two have had it, of like 30 chicks so far.

Do I have bad hens or rooster

10 days ago I put 54 eggs in the incubator. The eggs had been storaged at about 10 degrees C, and turned (mostly) one time each day. The eggs were collected in 14-18 days. 11 eggs didnt develop at all. Now, after 10 days I have just removed 15 eggs, which were all dead, rest look fine. This...

    Ducklings and water

My little ducklings arent ready to come out in the open yet, and I keep them in the barn. Seeing how much they love water, I would like to give them a small tub where they can swim. But since I dont want to change their water all the time I wonder: How long does it take water to become "bad"...

    Air cell reaaaaaaaally small

Hello people My last 2 goose eggs are supposed to hatch in about a week, and they seem to be doing well except for the really small air cell in the eggs. I believe that this is because 3 other groups have been hatched in the same incubator, therefore the humidity has been higher than it should...
