    No never free range as I've lost chickens to foxes before and there's no way anything can get into there pen ... I've had no crowing or anything either and my chickens are between 6 and 8 months old

    Help fertile egg and no rooster ?? Maybe its me being an idiot but it looks fertile to me... they can't free range and I've had them since little chicks all between 8 and 6 months old

    Awe no gutted guess I've got 4 to rehome :( this little one is special to me it had splayed legs was terrible I fixed him :( don't want him to go but I'm not allowed to keep Cockerels :(

    So this pekin bantam is just over 5 weeks old ... I have 3 other definite Cockerels but this ones comb is paler and hoping its a girl .... anyone shed any light on it please

    I got 7 chicks and only 2 were female I I rehomed most very young and kept 2 one very sadly died and I was devastated the other was amazing he was a star but started getting complaints about his crowing i tried everything to keep him quiet keeping him dark putting him in a confined space...
