I have never had to deal with a broody hen before. We have one now, that we realized is broody because she leaves for the entire day and night. We didn't know where she was going, and she only came back in the morning to eat, then leaves again. We caught her this morning and put her in a...

    Wobbly Pullet (video included)

That doesn't seem fine. But your guess is good as mine as to what her problem is. It could be genetics, inner ear thing causing loss of balance, vitamin deficiency, parasites. etc. Any injury that you know of? How long has she done this?

    Wry neck same as stargazing?

Would they always show signs of Wry neck, or could it show up after a week or two?? Does a chick with stargazing actually have a tilted head, or are the eyes just pointed up?

    Emergency!

We had similar problems once. It was infectious coryza. Any kind of upper respiratory infection needs attention though. We gave our chickens Tylan 50, but it MAY not be suitable in your situation. I would research some of the URI's and separate it/them from the healthy ones.

1 Week Old Chick With Crooked Leg

We have a Polish that came out of its shell with what we thought was a hurt leg. He never uses it. After he dried off, we got a good look at it. It is actually crooked. It turns out to the side. While he was still flexible we tried to tape it so that it stayed straight. It didn't help...

    Chick has blackened toe

Is it using the foot that is black? Sounds like the flesh is dying for some reason, or there is restricted blood flow for some reason. Is it acting healthy? Hope someone who has seen this before can chime in.
