chickens pecking me when I'm in their run

I was wondering if anyone has been pecked on the legs by their chickens. They just started doing that around the same time that they began laying eggs. Could that be why? It sure hurts! They don't do it when they are free ranging.

can week old chicks go outside for some sun and fresh air?

It is going to be in the high 70's today, was wondering if I could take my week old chicks out for a spell, then back inside? Can they pick at the ground, or would i be subjecting them to diseases? Thanks.

    treats?

Is it okay to give treats to 1 week olds and a 2 week old? When I go in their brooder I'd like to offer a treat so they'll become used to my hand. The barred rock is very friendly, the 2 wyandottes are'nt so sure, and the mystery chick is somewhat friendly.

    Buff Orpington or something else?

I was told that the one in the middle is a BO. I'd like to know before I call the seller tomorrow. I've never seen wing markings on a BO.

    My babies are here!

Would someone be able to tell me if the yellow chick is a BO. The man that sold her to me said she was, now I'm not so sure when I look around the website as to what everyone else is saying about their chicks. Could she be a NHR? I really wanted a BO.
