great guess, exactly right, but i was talking in general..... my black stars are touchy that way, i have had prolapses, some w broken legs, and some die trying to hatch bcuz they did not have a high enough humidity,(in past hatches, and when i pulled the plug on my new incubator they started to...
WOW!!!! best hatch ever!! yes, my temp and humidity did go up before and as they were hatching , so far 19 and even ones i thought were duds are jumping and starting to pip!! i think it may very well be a full hatch, so glas i did not toss ones i thought were duds... may have been a few a late...
CONGRATS SIS!!! but i WOULDN'T pull the plug, the membranes on the blackstars dry out real easy, i tried and they started to dry out, so I put it back- just trying to help otherwise you can have them die in the shells or prolapse trying too hard to get out.... it's happened to me....
super! how neat, i think i was a lil off on the date as i went from memory for the first time- stupid, i know and NEVER again!!!!! because i have two pipping already, a blackstar and a buff orpington....oops! congrats on your hatch! and good luck!
