She is a classic! I have to go back and look but she has some old classic lines in her. The lady that has her daddy is a good friend of mine, and she can tell me more. I’m still learning 😂. But she breeds the welsh ponies to her Arabian stallion and those babies are some lookers!! I personally...
Thank you! We are looking at possibly a black Arabian for her to be friends with. We aren’t set yet as he comes with other responsibilities aside from what our girl needs, but not terrible either.
How are you doing? It’s been so long!
Luckily we were the worst hit. And it wasn’t terrible…it...
Thank you! It has been really eventful! We also add a horse 🫣. She is an Arabian and just an excellent mover! We are thinking to show her. She was shown as, I believe a yearling, and did great. She is by herself, but she has been by herself for a long time. But she has goat friends not too far...
It’s been a long time since I have been on here. So far this year has been crazy busy! Expanding flocks, adding flocks, of course breeding season, etc. We experienced a tornado that went right through our property, luckily on the side of our property where our animals were not and everyone and...
I don’t even know, but 2 days of this stinks. Tomorrow is supposed to be much better! So far everyone has made it through this. I have been stressing a lot over it. This is the longest so far since having my babies, that the heat has continued for this long, and 2x in a year.
We are on the last day of this heat. I can’t wait for some relief…..I’m so so so ready for fall, and then can we just jump to spring back to fall??? I mean really…
Thank goodness for some small favors….there is a decent cooling wind blowing or this would be bad for the animals. At least this breeze is giving some of them some much needed relief!
It would be nice, don’t get me wrong….but the chicken coop and the geese and young call duck coop suffer from it. My goats need baths, so that would help them too but they run inside. 🤦♀️ I can’t even do that right now with the boys in rut, and the heat. Won’t help and do more damage than good...
The weather lately here cant decide how it wants to be. I think we have gone from Spring, to summer, back to spring/fall, back to summer. I’m really wanting the rain but I don’t want it with these temps.
How much rain did you all get?
It could be a weather change, there could be another predator somewhere. Even mice can cause this, or just them stressed. I have a few of mine that have stopped laying these last few weeks. But I think mine are going to be molting soon. They are just about that age.
