    I have 4 young (3 months) Maran roosters.. I personally would not consider them breeder quality as I have hatched better!! would be great for the backyard breeder looking to add egg color to there flock they are black copper and blue copper.. price is right at FREE ;-) local pickup ONLY..

    I do not feel so bad either, out of 30 laying hens we are getting 8 a day () all from the columbian wyandottes and the wheaten marans.. wellies, cochins and other marans on strike.. BUT we have a heated barn.. so no excuses allowed for these girls
