My hens are about 9-10 months old and have been laying BIG eggs lately. Not every day, but a lot. Is this normal to happen every few days, or should I be worried?
When they started laying, the eggs were small, as normal, then they slowly came to normal size, and then they started to get huge...
Specifically, I’m getting a batch of 12 blue Cochin chicks in mid to late April and was wondering if there are any tricks I could use to sex them so that I can assign a proper name to each of them. As I said, I don’t have them yet so I can’t post any pictures, but any help would be much appreciated!
