I'd check locally first, as @K3nzi3 said. But if your search proves unsuccessful, you could order your chickens online. They will ship to you. This is kind of a controversial topic, though, so I'll stop it there.
Hmm... well, I know that doves mate for life... if you don't want them to breed (which they will) you could try to get one of the same sex and hope that they "bond." This would probably fill the need for a mate.

I was a bit shocked when I learned that one of them feeds only chickenfeed, and the other feeds only table scraps. I was confused about this– I'd assume that a nice mix of both would be the best for chickens...
