    It was likely small subcutaneous fat deposits of xanthophyll (color pigment) rich fat. Leaving it will add color and flavor to the broth. Xanthophylls are also rich in antioxidants.

    I can see your inclusion amounts from the picture you posted. The picture makes it look like it was run through homemade feed formulation software, which isn’t necessarily bad, but can miss some things. I’ll run it through commercial grade software and let you know what it comes up with.
