Welcome to BYC!! :frow from Central Illinois also. Our chickens are part of our family , I always say I won't get to attached , but it never fails that I name them and spoil them just like our kids.:gig
BYC Is the ONLY place I find help when I need it. Or when I need a good laugh! Enjoy yourself...
Thanks Cassie.
She was 13 and has had acl issues for years, she's been on meds for arthritis for years. Which leads me to think about it being her liver shut down. She had liver checks every 6 mo. Due to the meds.
But, ultimately it must have been her "Time". She didn't suffer that I was aware...
Hi all,
It's been a sad five long days around the farm. Last Thursday I lost my Chloe dog.
What a shock! I knew she wasn't feeling well but nothing we haven't dealt with before. A little diareah. She was eating and drinking norm. She literally curled up next to me and died. RIP my love💔
34* now. Windy and raining all day.
Winter weather advisory until Wednesday.
Around 7" of snow starting tommorow afternoon. Over it. Even though it's been relatively mild this winter, I can live without the temps falling lows of 10 and 12 too!!
Uuggh the wind.
OH well!! A gal can bitch a bit...
Great news, no biopsy needed! She said it's a papilloma. Could even fall off.
She grabbed it and inspected the underside even..made me about puke! Didn't seem to bother chloe' in the slightest. She also said she can take it off for a small fee. Hopefully a week from now.:yesss::yesss::yesss:
Our large animal vet will be here tomorrow to see the cattle, I'll have her take a look see at my girl. I'll update then.
Thanks for everyone's in put on this.
Lol! Yeaa she has tags and molies here and there , always has. Im only concerned about it getting ripped off in one of her face washings she gives herself .
Her nails I keep as short as possible and so far so good. So anyways, that's my girl chloe'.
