Thank you....it looks like we are in for a ton of work...we have close to 150 birds and I know the lareg fowl and bantam RIR are infested. I don't know about the light brahmas or the millie fleurs....I'm afraid to check!

We are having a terrible time with feather mites! They have been dusted and dipped in the past week, and they are STILL crawling with mites! My husband has cleaned the pens and they were sprayed about two months ago....We have used Sevin dust and Permethrin 10% and I even sprayed them with Adams...

There is going to be a youth poultry show in Callahan, Fl. on June 14th. It is being held inconjunction with a bluberry festival that is going on up there. Don't know if there will be any bird selling going on, but you could look and talk with the folks anyway. They might have info about birds...

I know ya'll are gonna think I'm crazy, but I was complaining to a long time breeder that we were hatching out way too many roos and not enough hens. He told me to lower the temp in our bator. We did and the only roo we have hatched recently is the one that was hatched under a broody hen...
