    This batch of 12 weekers is making me second guess my sexing... These are barnyard mixes.. unknown breeds. Breed guesses & sex?? Why can't they all just crow... or have spurs... lol My second batch for different breeder, all different breeds seem alot easier to sex...

    So heard a distress call from the brooder & a poor little few day old silkie/polish cross got flipped over on to her/his back & couldn't right itself. I had been uneasy about it since last night, it had its wings out, standing eyes shut... but have seen it eating & drinking today. Is chirping...

    The dark one does have feathers on his feet but only on the outside edges.

    I would say the white one acts more roo like, sits up high watching everyone in the coop, stands quite upright but both are quite timid honestly & neither has any sort of shoulder feathering to distinguish them.
