my little "under the deck" coop

It is 16x6 I literally cannot make it any bigger unfortunately . I have 6 Black Star pullets that are about 6-8 weeks old now. They are just wonderful. The coop is a converted shed and is 4x6. I have it tiered so that they have the floor space of the coop as well. This has been a crazy project.

My Black star girls are about 5 ish weeks old and love being in the coop and run during the day(I still carry them in at night). Do you think they are feathered out enough to be out permanently?

What is your favorite coop/nesing box/run "bedding"?

I had read that that anything with pine in it is actually bad for your chickens. Is that just me falling too deep down the rabbit hole? Also what brand or type of pellets do you use? Thank you for your response.
