I hatched “Peanut” from a clutch of brown eggs I thought to be ISA browns and was surprised when she came out black!!
The source did tell me that her chooks were “all sorts” and I don’t mind. She is just over 4 x weeks now and she has white spots! I thought maybe a Wyandotte?? Can you tell...
I didn’t try to remove. They look like calcium deposits and was afraid to damage egg. Not sure what a porous shell looks like when candling. This is my first time candling. Here’s what I took.
No. Only this one. Tried to take pics of candling but too blurry. The embryo looks good still and there’s a nice air sack. I think I’ll just wait and see.
