Well I just should have waited 2 days......this AM I heard what I thought was a person on the side of my house...well it was the rooster crowing away!!!!
Pretty cold this week here in the Northeast, single digit windchills, water was freezing often. Mine were not coming out at all, stayed in coop even with some coaxing. I finally had to move water and some feed in to coop to get them to eat and drink. Water still freezing but not quite as...
Thank you all for replying.....ummmm anyone in the Pittsburgh area want two roosters?! Please???? Unfortunately can't keep them, not looking to breed chickens. Will look to trade for two hens if I can. Thanks again all.
Thank you......I kinda figured, but Im new to this chicken raising so I wanted to be sure. Just found out from another posting that instead of two female ameracaunas, I have two silver laced wyandotte males. Which I dont think I can keep, will try and trade them for two females.
Wyandottes, really, a friend ordered from a hatchery and he said he asked for Ameracaunas, but I cant find any examples of ameracaunas that look like these. Thanks for the input.
Forgot to add they are 4 months old, I need to know if they are roos, not sure I could keep them if they are, close neighbors and I dont want fertilized eggs.
I have two what I think are Ameracaunas. Could someone verify excactly waht they are and if they are males or females.....I think I know but I am new to raising chickens and cant be sure. Also have an austrolorp pictured there as well, I think it is a female. Buff Orpington hiding. Any help...
I like that run set up too....where did you get it? I have clear plastic over top of run now...but I also put pine shavings in the run to help with mud.

Where did you get that fence & what kind is it? Did you get it at TSC too? I see the TSC cover fits it good. I have a chain...
