    Bantam Cornish, anyone?

    Anyone have an experience crossing bantam cornish with standard birds? I have my bantam cornish is a mixed flock of mostly standard birds. The roo is a standard columbian wyandotte and I have chicks from the cross. Seem healthy, small but can see the cornish in them. Seem healthy and doing well...

    what is done can not be undone. right or wrong. what the actual result will be is up to the judge. what i am really here to try to figure out is how everyone else deals with this and what can i do at this point to avoid this situation again (apart from not keeping any animals)

    well the animal control informed me yah it wasn't the way to do it. but just cause i was fined ...........that doesn't mean i am guilty of anything. attorney thinks the charges can be dropped and maybe pay a small fine. end of story.

    it was late evening pouring down rain.........and i was i think in shock. i'm sure now that i've experienced this i will probably know how better to handle this

    by the way i am a female who has fired a gun only half a dozen times in my life. and all except two was at a target. so no, i'm don't expect myself to be a great shot

    the dog was shot twice.........not mutiple times. if i had shot it on the run i imagine it would have taken me multiple shots and caused the dog much more suffering

    i'm wondering now. if i shot the dog while it was eating the guinea inside the pen is that technically shooting the dog while it's confined? even though it confined itself in order to eat dinner?

    i didn't know the dog even had an owner. it appeared to be a stray. if i knew it had an owner i would have tied a dead guinea to it's neck and sent it home. maybe the guy would have gotten the message

    sorry i think people are jumping on me and not understanding that i didn't just shot some dog for being here. i shot it cause it was having a guinea buffet after eating into the coop. if i had my gun on me and shot it on site all would be right with the world.

    i do not shoot any animals at all. first animal i ever shot in my entire life. i don't shoot squirrels or rabbits or hunt. the dog had been wandering around for days, i didn't shoot it. i only shot it cause it ate it's way into the pen and killed the birds. i have no intentions of shooting any...
