That's the one. The coop is solid wood. The pen is welded wire. My intention is for this to house them and allow them to free range as well (hopefully).
By my estimation, they are around 3-4 weeks. Their wings are feathered, but the birds aren't fully feathered yet. I can keep heat on them through the night (which I planned on) until the low temps were 65F+ I was going to keep them in brood until 6 weeks and then move them to the coop and pen.
What are your thoughts about having pullets moved from inside to an outdoor screened in porch? Temps on the low end for NW GA right now are around 50F on the low, and 70 on the high. I am thinking of moving them to the porch to give them more room. Any issues with this idea that anyone can see?
