Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Yep, every darn one of the EEs is a cockerel! I think maybe next year I will try again. For now, I have my hands full learning the ropes. I'll attach some pics of the pullet barred birds. I'm such a novice, the comb thing is a confusing to me-especially on young birds. It's hard for me to...

Thank you so much for your time. I have 7 pullets that are a barred pattern, darker with smaller combs. I was questioning the breed of the barred bird pictured because I was told I was buying dominiques and EEs when I purchased them. Since taking pictures and asking about gender, I've been...

Thank you, both. My white Roo was trying today and it was pitiful. The others are making some noises, but nothing like that youtube video! That was cute. Mine squawk. Again, thanks!

    Barred Rocks!!

I have a question about a bird that I've purchased. I bought what were supposed to be Doms, but ended up being Barred Rocks. That's fine with me. I love my birds, but there's one that I don't know what to think of. I'm pretty sure it's a Rooster. Has the coloring of a Roo, but his comb and...

I'm hoping that it's okay that I post this here. I'm not entirely sure what breed of bird I have. I was told Easter Egger by the seller, but since I have found out my supposed Dominiques are in fact Barred Rocks. Needless to say, I'm not confident that my EE's are what they are supposed to...

We're gonna get shipped to the death chamber if mom don't find out what we are!

I have 2 gray birds that appear to be the same breed as yours. I was told they were Easter Eggers, but I'm really not sure. The rest of the birds I got were supposed to be dominiques and they aren't, so I don't have much faith in the supplier's knowledge or honesty.

    Breed/Gender? Please help!

Thanks. I'm a complete novice. I'm a little upset that the guy that sold them misled me. Not that I wouldn't have purchased them anyhow, but geeze, tell people what they are getting-correctly! He assured me that the yellow chick was the same breed as the others. I should've known. Oh well...

    Breed/Gender? Please help!

I purchased 12 chicks on March 12th that were 2-3 days old. I asked for a couple of Easter Eggers. The remainder are supposed to be Dominiques. I think for the most part that is correct, but there are 2 that I am questioning because they are mostly solid colored (one black/blue and one...
