My chicken did that too but it looked like he was crowing

Here's my Buff Orpington "Sunshine" She's the craziest chicken I've ever had she attacks the dogs and small birds we don't even need a rooster with her around. Sadly the rooster left her crippled but she can still hobble along on both legs. :D:

What I did was drill a golfball in the nesting box and they stopped pecking their eggs.

Can anybody tell me if they're male or female? One of them has a larger redder comb than the other.

So these two chicks are the same age and I still can't tell if they're male or female, they do not crow, and they do not cluck.
