I have 2 (3/4) silkie chicks, I was previously convinced they're both pullets but they have started trying to fight my roosters now I'm worried might be cockerels after all.
My chickens have all been losing feathers so I got worried and looked at their heads and found what I believe is lice, my neighbour recommended diatomaceous earth but I've read its not effective, any recommendations for what to use?
I have 6 chicks, all 8 weeks old, 4 are half silkies and two of them are 3/4 silkies. Any guesses on their genders?
1. i think male???
2. Also male???
3. 3/4 silkie chick
4. I think it's a pullet
5. Also believe this one is a pullet
6. Other 3/4 silkie
