    Mine threw off shoots that grew in the yard, where the root shot over and a plant grew up from it. Some of them were some distance from the mother plant too.

    I think you need to plant a root. The roots spread though, so it should be easy to dig a root. However, I feel like I should warn you how invasive wisteria is here. I cant kill the sucker!     Hatching Turkey's

    My Turkeys went broody and hatched the eggs but as soon as the babys were hatching the mommas stomped them, so I very much recommend you take the eggs as soon as they are ready to hatch or put them in an incubator and do the work yourself.

    Yes, a hen will set when she goes broody even on no eggs. I hate to see all that hard work for nothing, and most hens are such good mommas. How about giving her a couple eggs to set on?
