    Keeping Sneezers Indoors?

Oh darn, that makes sense. Thanks for all your great tips! If it is viral and they just need to tough it out, is it good that I'm keeping them indoors? It's a pain to clean, but if it ups their chances of survival I'll manage.

    Keeping Sneezers Indoors?

Kathy and Eggcessive, thank you for your replies! Because of the incredibly fast spread of the disease (from 1/4 to 4/4 in a few days) I'm banking on this being infectious bronchitis. How absolutely adorable! And practical, too. I was so surprised to find my big barred rock hen loving her epsom salt bath and not minding a hot blow dry, chickens must appreciate the finer things in life.

    New Silkies in Quarantine

Hi everyone! I got my first chickens a week ago, four hens. One's a Rhode Island Red, two are Barred Rocks, and one is an Easter Egger. They all live in a coop in my backyard with no run (I let them free range when I'm at home and chase them back in the coop with relative ease). I live in SW...
