Adult Male Cayuga Duck NEEDS HOME (Spokane, WA)

I have a 5 yr old healthy male duck. He lost his soul mate recently and needs a home to live out the rest of his days with other ducks. He is free, all I ask is that he goes to a good home. I hatched him in 5th grade and hate to see him go.

    Emu Hatching Eggs

I know a private breeder that is located in central washington. I could pm you her information, if you'd like. She has emu's mostly for their natural products (feathers and stuff) but she has sold me 2 eggs once before, in the early spring.

    Silkie color mixes?

Well, in my experience usually when you have a black and buff, all you'll get is black silkie chicks. I don't think a buff's genes are as strong as a black silkies genes. I don't have any partridge or white, so i can't say there. But with my black rooster and buff girls, i never get any...

    silkie sexing

It's hard to tell, but I'm leaning towards pullet. The only thing working against him/her is the possible development of streamers...

Gender, Age, Color, the whole package. What is she?

Age...I would say maybe 5 weeks. Not sure on gender. Her color is really interesting, maybe some kind of a mix. I would say splash but the brown throws me. Really pretty silkie though!

    Silkie guessing game

The white one looks like a girl to me. I agree, that black one looks sketchy. I'm not sure what he/she could be...maybe pullet?

    Silkie colors...

Back to the original pic/question, I think the top one looks grey. Or maybe a gray partridge (it could have been a mix up with eggs). The bottom one looks blue to me, but the stripe does throw me off. When they feather out more it should be easier to tell their coloring.

The white one looks like a pullet...I'm not sure on the second one. Possibly a cockerel (sorry).

    Ultimate Gender Question: Silkies

I'm thinking Pompadour may be a cockerel, and Zizzy also looks like he/she might be a cockerel. Not sure on the other two.
