    Welcome! :) I feel like there's not really a right answer to this question except just be cautious. It all depends on the dogs' personalities and the environment. We had free range chickens who roamed the yard all day and several family dogs that also had free run of the yard all the time...

    I'm not an expert but in the past when this has happened to me I just separate them. Not always convenient to raise them separately or have multiple coops going but can't have them ganging up on one baby! Maybe if you observe that one chick is being less aggressive towards the one getting pecked...

    What color of silkie do you have?? The only silkie person I know of in the area is Grumpy Goats. That's where we got our eggs last spring. They have really nice chickens though! Also have you checked craigslist at all?
