Hey BYC!
Just joined today and I am SO happy to read about people's chickens and see their pictures! I got into raising chickens for the first time ever last summer when I was living in Jackson, TN but moved to Nashville in December, and the thing I miss the most about Jackson is my chickens :(
But it's great to be on BYC and feeling like a part of the chicken world again!

Glad you could join the flock! Lovely silkie there. I too would miss my chickens so much if I didint have them with me. Are you not able to keep them where you live now? You will certainly feel part of the chicken work here on BYC! Would be lovely for you if you could keep them again.

It must have been difficult to leave your flock behind. I hope you can either move them to your new location or begin anew.
 
Welcome to Middle TN. We live in Kingston Springs, 25 miles West of Nashville. We are trying hard to find a silkie pullet or hen for our silkie rooster. Even though you are new to the area, might you possibly know where we can find a female companion for our "fuzzy feet"?

Thanks! I can't right now, living in an apartment. But hoping to move to a house early next year and then I will definitely have a few chickens!
