My son and I are feverishly working to complete a 32' long enclosure for our chickens and doves. The dimensions are 22' L x 9' W x 7' H for the covered run that has two levels, which joins a 10' L x 10' W x 7.5' H coop with window and doors on two walls. I can't wait to finish to post photos...
2 days later they were still white and happy as can be....here they are eating squash from the garden - they eat starter, meal worms, veggies from garden and anything they scratch. These are so big I let them have free run of the yard (the others are in a 9' wide by 6.5' tall by 32.5' space).
People have family portraits done with dogs and cats...why not do it with chickens? My 21-year old daughter is considering a career as a pet photographer, with mobile studio to do on-site portraits of anything from reptiles/amphibians right up through livestock. I think it is an awesome idea.
