Phew, ok. I'm not crazy then for thinking that might be an option. Just walked out there and placed the eggs under her (after having my hand mangled for disrupting lol). She re-adjusted, but looks to be content with it there for now. 🤞🤞Hoping for the best! Thanks for the advice!

Still relatively new here, and I've had 7 eggs incubating the last 20 days, 3 of which continued development along the process. One bantam chick hatched earlier yesterday, and I still have 2 in the incubator (no pip yet). Alongside this, one of my Bantam hens went broody about 3 days...
Will definitely keep that in mind for our redesign! I've not actually seen a hawk in the area since we've moved here. Same with other animals actually now that I think of it. The only constant wildlife I've ever seen here are two Sandhill Cranes that continue to visit daily (the past 5 years).
