Never heard of that. First time hearing of that breed. He fit in so well with the others color wise I was hoping he was the same breed as them. Figured it was a long shot 😔.

Yeah they stay inside the coop in the roost so now wind or rain gets to them. I wanna put a heat lamp up above where I set the food and water out so it will be warm where they eat and drink. As for temps the lows are in the 30s and 40s but one day dips in the high 20s

What if its cold outside should I add a heat lamp to keep temps up or will moma be enough

I have a hen that lays on her eggs all day but but will sleep on them. Will she be able to hatch them or should I pull the eggs. Also it gets in the low 50s at night

Well finally got my chicks from McMurray in today! Been waiting on these for months. Got 6 black australorp and a unknown chick.the white one is the freebie. Gonna have to wait till it gets bigger to figure out what it's is and what size it is. Will be back with pics when it gets bigger so yall...
