I have a dewormer I can use, just have not used it yet. It is called Valbazen? When you say worms on the walls of the coop.. what do they look like?? and what do the mites look like. If I de worm them will this help, or can I give them more iron in the diet?
They are eating well and drinking fine. Not losing any feathers, she just got over a pretty bad molt too. The other ladies look just nice and red and feet look normal.
UPDATE! Upon closer inspection, it looks like my Delaware's comb, base of beak, waddle are more pinkish purple and kinda scaly. Her feet lost color too and are scaly. What does this mean?? The other two birds have bright red combs, but maybe a few black spots on them?? They are about 18 months...
Alright.. I just actually ordered the product and hopefully its gets her sooner than later. Stuff is pricey.. Heh. I will give them all the dewormer to be safe. I did just go out an check all the fresh droppings around the yard, I see no sign in any of them of worms, Could they still have them...
Also, some people say to dilute 1cc with 8cc of water and to give a standard hen 2cc's of that mixture. Now if the is very underweight, do I still want to give her 1.2cc or should it be more like 1.4cc?
Thank you :) Sorry for all the questions.. just nervous.
I have read on a few websites that Wazine was safer to use for first time worming, then to follow up about with Valbazen 10 DAYS LATER. Then after 6 months you dont need to use Wazine first and can just use straight Valbazen dose.
Is this true or is Valbazen truly ok to use the first time? I...
Thank you very much again for your help. I will search the web for the dewormer, hopefully it gets here fast! I do give them Rooster Booster with vitamins and electrolytes in their water every day. So that should be ok?
Thank you again!
Thank you I will go get the dewormer for TSC today. I was just there yesterday and saw it on the shelf, but didn't buy it since the directions didn't look all that simple and she wasn't this bad off yesterday.
It was in a white bottle with blue lettering and liquid form... Do I just give it to...
Well only the one is acting this way, the other two just seem fine, but won't leave her side. I have not dewormed them since I have had them . I received them when they were just 2 days old. They were vaccinated before I got them and was on a medicated chick feed for the first few weeks in my...
So maybe someone can help me. I have posted a few times with video's but I can't seem to get any responses and I am really concerned about her and the other 2 I have..
It all started with Molting.. I believe that's what it is since I don't see mites or lice on her.
She is extremely thin...
**bump** - she's starting to tip over when she's standing and the other birds won't leave her side. They normally all run free around the yard, but they all haven't moved since this morning.
I don't know what's wrong or what to do.. :(
So I posted yesterday about my Delaware. She is still acting strange. Is eating, sort of. Doesn't seem to interested compared to the others who dig right in, so that's starting to concern me. She's terribly thin as it is and they are only about 16 months old. I have started putting vitamins and...
