    She says thank you! She’s been my best mama. ❤️ I love her so much. She was rehomed to me by a friend who lost the rest of his flock to a bear.

    This little one wandered into my yard in town nearly hit by a car so I scooped her up and brought her to the farm. She has feathered feet and legs and either no tail or not much of a tail. She’s shy but warming up to the others little by little. Is she young? What breed might she be?

    A friend of mine called this evening. One of her young pullets has a hard protrusion below her vent. I’ll post some pictures. I thought she might be impacted but it’s so hard. I lubricated her vent with olive oil anyway. Could it be a tumor? She’s only 6 weeks old or so.

    I lost my rooster last winter. I have been looking for a cockerel for months and finally found an ad. Drove a couple of hours round trip to get this little one. Do I have a boy or a girl?
