No idea on the breed, but the comb looks pretty big and red for its size/feather development - maybe a roo? So great that she was able to rescue him! I hope that somebody didn't purposely release him because he was a roo and they didn't want him (sad!).
I agree that they look like white leghorns. My Buff Orpington looked more gold as a chick. However, I am not sure about the black dots.... Hope you get the girls that you are aiming for!
I am not sure what she is - but she is adorable! I am only familiar with buff brahmas, and they have a grey body when they are young. Plus, brahmas have feathered feet, so, I wouldn't think so. Hopefully someone else will be able to through out some ideas!
