    Hi again, I know I'm maybe posting too soon but I've just noticed wattles on my lovely chick, I'm thinking roo but is there still a chance I'm wrong. Also pictured with its sister/brother? Much smaller. Coming up for 6 weeks

    Hatched 4 days ago, mum is a frizzle cochin and dad a silkie. All 3 chicks are different colours?! Is it too early to tell if they will be frizzle yet?

    Different colour chicks/introducing only chick

    Hi, it's been a while since I hatched my flock in the incubator (2years old now). So we decided to let our broody golden top sit on 3 eggs (frizzle mum, silkies dad). I'm wondering why all 3 chicks are very different colours, sorry if silly question! They hatched 4 days ago and I've got one more...

    Fertile????

    I've just removed the 4 eggs she's been sat on for 13 days. Do I wait for the others to lay some more today and give her those or wait for a while?? That was the only egg I've cracked so far and it's been a winner! I used to be a hairdresser so I may have to get trimming the fluffy butts up!!
