Hen with impacted/pendulus crop… how do I treat?

I hope she gets better. Do your chickens have access to grit?

    Is this bumble foot?

Looks like it could be bumblefoot. It can happen from her cutting herself then bacteria from the environment getting into her foot, potentially causing an infection. Here's a link to an article about it: BUMBLEFOOT in Backyard Chickens

    wheezing hen

Could be a respiratory illness or even gape worms or something along the lines of that.

    Weird object

Could be a lash egg, a sign of infection in your hen.

    How to stop feather pecking!?

We left them on until she stopped showing an interest in pecking/until the pecked chickens' feathers grow back. The pumpkin in the meantime is a good idea 😂 Let me know if the peepers work for you!

URGENT!! Sick chicken, poopy and bloody butt!

UPDATE: She didn't eat today, nor drink much. I made her a mash which she ate yesterday but didn't want any today. I washed her off with a spray bottle, and checked her vent. It looks normal, not prolapsed or anything. Her feathers had dry poop and blood on them. So what were my chickens pecking...

URGENT!! Sick chicken, poopy and bloody butt!

I cant handle her so I cannot check her for a prolapse. Do you think it could be vent gleet because her poopy butt is really starting to stink BAD. It may just be from the poopy and bloody feathers.

    Hen with lifted scales

Looks like scaly leg mites. Soak in warm water to remove any dead scales, then suffocate the mites with petroleum jelly, or use other products made for this. If the other flock members have it treat them all, and you can disinfect their coop with things like Diatomaceous Earth.

    Poopie butt

Some chickens have a little bit of a poopy butt once in a while. Follow the deworming advice on the package for how often to deworm. If she's acting normal I wouldn't be overly concerned but keep an eye on her and do some research about it too :)

Help, chick malpositioned, half out and frantic. what to do?

After 24 hours, you could try very gently chipping away at the shell with tweezers and using a bit of water to keep the membrane soft. Do little at a time. Interference is the last resort. See how it's doing, and don't keep it out of the incubator for more than 5 minutes if you can.

URGENT!! Sick chicken, poopy and bloody butt!

Thank you for your reply! She seems a little bit perkier today though she's still obviously not feeling well. I just made her some mash and she's eating at it more than anything else we've tried (scrambled egg, scratch), so hopefully that helps her. I'll see if I can get some calcium, where can...

URGENT!! Sick chicken, poopy and bloody butt!

Okay, thanks for the tips. She has been pecked at so I moved her into to box. She's struggling to poop, only a little dribble will come out. Don't know if that's from swelling or not eating, or both. There's so many things I'm not sure about nor how they tie together. I hate seeing her like this.

    Just joined!

Hi! I currently have a Rhode Island Red, and two "no breed" chickens from a feed store, maybe Leghorn, and light brown hen. One's currently sick, check out my other post if you can help! :(
