No harsh criticism from me. Those things happen. I hope you can find a place close enough temporarily that will give you the opportunity to rehome the chickens
I hand pulled weeds and ran tiller between the rows. My ordeal was the weeds would come up before my veggies making it difficult. They would also come up in the rows, when I pulled the weeds my veggie plants would come out also. If I missed a few days it was over. :sick
I would follow this thread. Use to have a garden but I just could not keep the weeds under control. My neighbor has a nice garden not a weed in site and he goes away on vacation for a week and it still stays clean. Unfortunately he will not share his secret, just smiles and says he does not...
Hello all. My buff Orpington's have started molt nearly a month ago. With cold temps coming I have put in a heat lamp to help waterer from freezing. With the red light going will this bring them out of molt sooner and egg production start again? If so, how long would it take?
Hello and welcome to BYC! Mine are on the outside and they work fine. I think you will be ok with either design. Just some items to consider would be keeping rain and and weather out. There are some additional challenges on outside boxes as opposed to inside.
Hello all. I think my Buff Orpington are starting to molt (losing feathers and no egg production). My question is, is it worth while to keep these chickens with no egg production or order new chicks and start from scratch?
