If I breed my white leghorn roo with a white rock hen, what color eggs will the offspring lay? I wonder since leghorns lay white eggs and my white rocks lay a cream color. Does anyone know?

so we have a black cochin bantam hen. she is very friendly. i've heard that cochins are good foster moms. next week we are buying chicks. i was thinking maybe i should put the chicks with her. hopefully she will take care of them and show them how to be a chicken. is it a good idea?

that might be the problem. the cage is a little bigger than a rabbit hutch. We keep them in there during the winter. They run loose when the weather gets better.

I keep my rooster and hen together in their cage. They have been there for quite a while now. I havent seen them mating. And she hasnt been laying. They are both about a year old. Any suggestions?
