I would think they might be pecking each other. So are these chicken gamebirds or pheasant or partridges?

If it is pheasants ect. Then it is from them pecking each other.

Gamebirdsonly, I saw in a message that you raise Polish chickens. We were given 2 Polish that are about 5-6 months old. They were being picked on by other chickens & all of their tail feathers were picked out. We have a Buff & a Silver Lace. Last night (day 2 of being here) my hubby found the Silver Lace sitting on top of the dog house that we made into a coop for them & a lame bantam rooster. I understand that Polish are some of the hardest to sex, Could this be rooster behavior???? Thanks
