    Single Poult - what to do?

    I'm in the same boat. I currently also have 2 and 3 week old silkies. I put my poult with my smallest silkie and they seem relaxed and content. My question though, can the chick survive on turkey starter? Or should I take her out and just substitute with a mirror? (Already on in the brooder)

    So I've noticed yesterday that my beautiful guy was lethargic. I've seperated him, dusted for fleas and mites. Cleaned his fluff which was pretty full of poop. He's been given electrolytes and is in a warm heated garage. He's new to my flock, we've had him maybe three weeks. What could this be...

    Keeping Chickens Free Range

    Hi! First time chicken owner here. I've had my girls for about a week. I plan on building them a run but for right now I want to let them free range. I'm scared they will get eaten or wander off. Opinion time! Should I let them out?
