    How often do you gather eggs in the coop?

    I recently purchased 4 pullets. 2 RIR and 2 Americaunas. 1 of the Americaunas was laying at the time. She laid 3 eggs and then was traumatized by a game hen..... Noone has laid an egg since that time.... Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? They all seem to be happy and get along now...

    Nice looking coop. Mine looks alot like it and I too made it from "repurposed" materials.... Lots of fun and the flock went inside last night by themselves.... hopefully no more chasing chickens to put to bed.... Gasseous

    Nice..... do you chickens walk up the ramp? I built my coop up like that too.... and Mabel, my only chicken, won't walk up the ramp.... just wondering how long it took for them to learn?
