    Getting pullets into main coop

For me they key was letting the girls figure it out. Everyone's comments helped me do that. I hope you have the same success.

    Getting pullets into main coop

It's 7:50 pm. They're in the big coop. Some on roosts. Had to hand deliver only 3 of them. Fingers crossed. I'll open the coop at dawn.

    Getting pullets into main coop

Thank you. I went out and opened both doors of the big coop today and the young birds were going in and out. They don't seem too intimidated by the 2 big girls. I'll pop them in tonight and see what happens.

    Getting pullets into main coop

I have 6, 19 week old pullets. They sleep in an eglu at night. Quite jam packed. I have 2, 6 year old hens in the main coop. I've tried locking the pullets into the run with the main coop at night but they wander around distraught. I can't just lock the young girls in the coop for a few days...

hens too cold and windy to come out for food and water

Yes. We're pretty tarped up. I'm wondering what the issues are for eglu cube owners. I've read tons of reviews and everyone seems to love them. They haven't come out today. It's 10:22 and 4 degrees. Their food and water are outside the cube. Thanks for your comment. I'm a worrisome chicken owner.

hens too cold and windy to come out for food and water

We recently moved and are using the eglu cube for the winter. I have 4 hens. Barred rock, buff Orpington and two wyandottes. There is no way to put food and water in the cube and it's been so cold and windy that the girls are reluctant to come out to their tiny attached run. I'm worried that...

    Orange Eglu Cube Coop

The apron would nev r prevent a mink or a weasel. That's a challenge to any coop set up.

    Worms

We have been successful getting her to eat and drink sporadically. I think she's failing. Spoke to the vet and he agrees. He had given her a 50-50 chance from the beginning. Something else is going on. It's a very sad situation. it might be possible that the maggots had caused more damage than I...
